Hospitality Never Stops

I never knew what direction my restaurant career was heading since I first set foot into the prep kitchen at the Cheesecake Factory in 2016. My time as a budding cook always felt like an uphill struggle, but I learned some invaluable life skills and the satisfaction of knowing my efforts were making someone’s night special. In July 2022, I stepped out of the kitchen and into the dining room, serving the food I had previously been preparing. The role allowed me to see hospitality from another angle. Through the years I’ve met some sharp, diligent, and caring individuals who I’m proud to call my peers and my mentors. This photo project is meant to shine a light on those who are in this imperfect business of caring for others.
